Storage Options
All MnM beds include standard underbed storage. You can upgrade to ottoman gas lift, side drawers, or both.
Best for: lightweight items, shoes, seasonal clothing
Not ideal for: very bulky items or things you need daily access to

Ottoman Storage
An ottoman storage bed uses gas pistons to lift the entire mattress platform upward, giving you unobstructed access to the full footprint of the base. Unlike standard underbed gaps, the storage cavity spans the whole bed area — so you can lay bulky items flat rather than folded.
Ottoman beds suit larger bedrooms where you have occasional but generous storage needs: seasonal duvets, spare pillows, suitcases, and large items that would otherwise take up wardrobe space. The gas-assisted lift means even a loaded base opens with one hand.
Drawer Storage
Drawer beds have one or two pull-out drawers built into the side of the base. Because you access them by sliding — rather than lifting — they suit everyday items: spare bedding, clothes, or books that you reach for regularly without wanting to disturb the mattress.
They also work well in rooms where an ottoman lift isn't practical — for example, rooms with lower ceilings, or where the bed sits under a sloped roof. Side drawers need only 60–70 cm of clear floor space on the opening side, making them a natural fit for compact bedrooms.
Check which way the ottoman lifts. Front-opening needs clearance at the foot of the bed. Side-opening needs clearance at the side.
Ottoman bases need enough clearance above the mattress when the base is lifted. Standard UK ceilings are fine.
Drawers need roughly 60–70 cm of clear floor space on the side they open. Measure before ordering.
